What Is Booking Protection?
Life is unpredictable. When you book a Blue Cruise weeks or months in advance, unexpected changes can happen. Heritage Yachting's Booking Protection, underwritten by HMD Insurance, gives you peace of mind by offering partial to full deposit refunds if you need to cancel.
HMD Insurance is a subsidiary of HMD Corp, providing specialized travel protection products for Heritage Yachting customers.
How It Works
Three simple steps to protect your booking
Choose Your Plan
During checkout, select from three protection tiers: Voyager, Explorer, or Captain. Each offers different levels of cancellation coverage.
Pay a One-Time Premium
A small percentage of your charter price is added as a separate charge. This is your protection premium, fully transparent, no hidden fees.
Cancel with Confidence
If you need to cancel, your refund is calculated automatically based on your tier and how far in advance you cancel. Refunds are processed to your original payment method.

Voyager
Basic cancellation protection. Ideal if you're fairly certain about your dates but want a safety net.

Balanced coverage with a wider cancellation window. Our most popular tier.
